As a bride, there is nothing more fun than being showered by all of your friends and family. Personally, I love throwing showers. There is so much room for creativity and ways to make it special for the bride to be. I pulled together some simple bridal shower ideas that will leave the bride to be feeling special and loved.

Yogurt Bar

A yogurt bar is a great idea for a shower. It is an easy set up and affordable too! All guest love options and the ability to prepare their treat how they want it.

Glitter Vases

These glitter vases are an easy DIY centerpiece and cute too! I love the simple sparkle with the bold floral.

Tea Cup Floral

These tea cup arrangements are simple, sweet and pretty. Save money on vases and use passed down family china.

Drink Station

I love love love love LOVE this drink station set up. Add a pop of color and sass with this drink bar.

Life Styled Events

This inspiration board caught my attention while flipping through images on the internet. The colors are GORGEOUS and would look in a lot of different settings. It also got me thinking about how useful inspiration boards are! They really keep all of your vendors on the same page and all understanding the look and feel of your big day! Not into Pinterest? That’s okay! Create a word doc composed with images you love. On your boar, add colors, floral, graphics, wedding inspiration images, patterns ect. The more the better! Remember, you are not locked into the things you put on your board, they are simply there as a guide.

This week we wanted to highlight Adam Grumbo Films. We worked with him over the weekend on a gorgeous Mehndi, rehearsal dinner and wedding. Adam and his team did an amazing job capturing the details, feel of the wedding, and love of the couple. Adam Grumbo Films also does something called a same day edit. Yup, you guessed it, they edit film from the wedding and can play it for you and your guest at the reception. VERY cool. Here is the same day edit we played for the guest at this weekend’s wedding:

Balloons are back…back again. Remember years ago when balloons were the “it” thing at every event? Well they stop trending for awhile and now they are back and better than ever. I have never really been a huge balloon fan until recently. I am loving the balloon trend and all the fun colors, confetti and tassels that come with. There are balloon designs for every budget. There are cheap balloons and balloons that are around $25 each. If you are looking for some really cool balloons, that aren’t your plain jane ones from the store, check out Etsy.com.

Bea and Joe had an amazing wedding! They had a gorgeous ceremony and reception and beautiful pictures that captured all of their big smiles! They were such a fun couple to work with and we really enjoyed getting to know them and being apart of their big day. They got married at Chateau Bellevue, the perfect setting for this couple to say “I DO”! A soft color pallet set the scene for all of their closest family and friends. The night was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
